Kelley Plante’s debut EP Ooh La La is a strong, mouthwatering rock and roll aperitif, a “teaser” for the full-bodied record the singer-songwriter is artfully brewing. Heavily influenced by the sounds of the 70’s, the EP’s classic blues-rock base is garnished with fresh funk flavors and notes of smooth jazz. Tantalizing electric guitar solos, resonant organ, and big-band brass form the perfect frame for Kelley’s soulful, powerful voice. Her groovy, riff-based writing style gives Ooh La La a raw, live feel, seamlessly glossed together with polished pop hooks, tight stops, and clever word-play. She speaks from the heart, relaying the truth of her inner monster, migrant, sweetheart, and siren through molten metaphors and storybook narration.

Simply put, Ooh La La goes down like a straight shot of bourbon: bold, honest, and fiery, leaving the drinker thirsty for more.
